Adainty vintage cuckoo clock charm, modeled in 14k yellow gold, whose lovely, hand-painted-enamel face reads 9:40. This miniature clocksportsthree, moving “weights” that danglebelow its base, andeach of these pendant weightsis decorated with a red, heart-shaped finial. A little red bird peeks out froman opening, above the clock face— cuckoo! This old charm is a rarity. We think it’s about "the time for love" (which is always, of course), or perhaps it's about being cuckoo for love! Whatever the reading, we love this little talisman for itsred, black, andwhitecolor scheme, and its crazy-sweet sensibility! We think this looks best worn alone, on a slender chain, but it would also make a wonderful addition to a charm bracelet.Marked 14k for purity, and with the Sloan & Co. lyre.
